Finding time for a lean IT initiative

Looking for an IT provider with a skilled support team

Alexander, IT Manager at BORIDE, wanted to focus on BORIDE’s lean IT initiative, but the company’s ongoing IT needs were preventing him from doing so. This initiative would help leverage IT within BORIDE to drive further efficiency and new revenue. He needed help, but wasn’t willing to compromise on user support or technical expertise.

Taking a team approach to IT

Safety Net’s large and certified team proves a reliable resource for internal IT

Alexander’s criteria for an IT provider were straightforward. He wanted a professional and reliable managed services provider (MSP) who had the staff and skills needed to support BORIDE. Alexander chose Safety Net because it was the most well-established MSP in Northern Michigan. He was impressed by the team’s breadth of technical certifications and by the size of the support group.

Safety Net had a more professional approach to managed services than any of their competition, and the cost is reasonable.

IT improvements for greater productivity

Almost immediately, Alexander could dedicate more time to strategic initiatives because the Safety Net team now managed routine IT tasks. “The day-to-day interruptions are gone. I’m back working on projects and improving stations in the plant that make our users and workers more efficient,” commented Alexander. Safety Net also increased the speed of BORIDE’s internet connectivity by implementing a link aggregation device. In addition, they developed a disaster recovery strategy and plan for BORIDE.
