Nic Price is a deep thinker – something you’ll quickly recognize after talking with him. He may mention his favorite philosophers and share some of their ideas. Nic cultivated his understanding of great scholars while studying for a BS in Philosophy from Michigan State University.
His love of learning new things and solving problems led this “thinking guy” into a career in tech. Nic spent several years as a support technician for WdWeb Company, where he helped troubleshoot client problems and assisted with keeping the network running smoothly. His quiet and reflective demeanor came in handy when customers described their issues so he could determine a good course of action. In this position, Nic acquired skills and expertise in CCNA routing and switching, CompTIA A+ programming, Microsoft Office and both the Windows and Mac operating systems. His unique combination of skills and personality makes him an ideal Network Technician for Safety Net’s clients.
It should be noted that Nic’s thoughtful qualities don’t outweigh his sense of humor or goofy side. So, a joke or funny comment is always possible when he takes your support request. When not at work, Nic enjoys collecting old vinyl jazz records, hiking, and photography. His two dogs are his favorite walking companions; they listen attentively as Nic appreciates the natural beauty around them and ponders the meaning of it all. If you run into this trio on the TART trail, ask to pose with the pups for a photo – Nic’s a pretty good photographer and the dogs don’t bite!
