Support Services Specialist
While you wouldn’t necessarily know it because he’s humble, Jake is quite possibly one of the most interesting people at Safety Net. A lot of geeks love video games – he takes it to an impressive level – with a collection of over 500 games! To make sure he can continue to enjoy them, it makes complete sense that he counts repairing and restoring video game consoles among his favorite things to do. He has a musical side that finds him playing the guitar and singing, too. An Eagle Scout who has made the Dean’s List every semester he’s been at NMC, Jake has already earned his CompTIA A+ certification.
After getting his professional feet wet as a Help Desk Assistant, Jake joined Safety Net as an intern in Support Services and then quickly earned a full-time position on the team as a Support Services Specialist. His hard work and determination aren’t new - as a member of his high school cross country team, he won an award for being the most inspirational when he cut his 5k time from 24:33 to 18:57. Jake is passionate about everything he does – from constantly learning and growing to his love of animals and virtual reality.
His goal with every client (and co-worker) interaction is to be patient and thoughtful, and to make sure problems are solved and people are satisfied. While he’s undoubtedly friendly, rumor has it Jake can be a little ruthless on the airsoft field – so be on the lookout!
